Nintendo unveiled its next-generation console a couple of months back. The company is going to reveal more information about the Nintendo Switch on January 12th, 2017. Nintendo has now confirmed that you will be able to play Nintendo Switch before it’s eventually released in March next year. It’s going to take the console on a multi-city tour a day after the January 12th event where it’s hopefully going to confirm the price and release date of the Nintendo Switch.

This multi-city tour will enable Nintendo fans to play Nintendo Switch and see if it’s something they want to spend money on. The tour starts off in New York.

The Nintendo Switch is only going to be available to the public at large for three days in each city. There’s a caveat, the first two days in any given city will be open to attendees on an invite-only basis.

The final day is going to be open to any and all Nintendo fans who want to take the Switch for a spin. It goes without saying that you’ll have to show up early if you want to get some hands-on time with the next-generation console.

Nintendo mentions that space will be limited and that fans will be let in on a first-come, first-served basis. All the more reason to line up bright and early. The company says that select Nintendo Switch games will be playable on the tour but doesn’t mention the names.

The tour cities and dates are mentioned in Nintendo’s press release.
