So it has been confirmed that Android Pay will arrive for Android Wear, and while the announcement and implementation which is expected to arrive in Android Wear 2.0 is soon, the folks at Droid-Life have reported that there are already screenshots of Android Pay in action on Android Wear via the Android Pay app.

As you can see in the image above, basically it shows the app giving users instructions on how to use Android Pay on their smartwatches. Given that it uses NFC basically all users have to do is hold the watch against the payments terminal and they’re good to go. Users will be able to pull up transaction history as well to see what payments have been made so far.

Like we said, this should be officially implemented in Android Wear 2.0 which last we heard, could be officially announced on the 8th of February, which is this coming Wednesday. It was previously reported that the announcement and release of Android Wear 2.0 could take place on the 9th of February, but apparently the date has since been moved up.

Android Wear 2.0 was officially announced last year but apparently Google has been taking feedback from their developers pretty seriously, which is why the release of the platform has taken longer than expected due to the changes they’ve been making.
