lg-g6-leaked-prototype-1
We’ve already heard many rumors and reports about LG’s upcoming flagship smartphone. Purported schematics and renders of the device have been leaked as well but we haven’t seen a live photo of the device as yet. A couple of photos are now circulating online and they’re believed to be of a prototype of the LG G6. It’s evident from the pictures that this isn’t a finished product but a prototype at some stage in the development process.

The leaked LG G6 prototype does show that the metal body of the device is going to have a nice chamfer around its entire frame. It also gives us a glimpse of the screen-to-bezel ratio which appears to be minimal.

What you can’t tell from these leaked images is whether or not the display has rounded edges as some rumors have claimed. Perhaps we might get to see that in upcoming leaks. There are bound to be a few of them before this handset is officially announced.

We can also see that the LG G6 is going to have a dual-camera system as well as a USB Type-C support, that was to be expected after all. LG has already confirmed that the G6 is going to move away from the modular platform is launched with the G5 so that’s why you don’t see any place to add on “Friends” for the device.

LG is expected to unveil the G6 at the Mobile World Congress 2017 in Barcelona later this month.
