Have you ever wanted to own a red iPhone? Well, now you can. Apple today introduced a new color option for the iPhone 7. The company has previously offered several (PRODUCT)Red cases for the iPhone but this time around it has decided to splash the color on the handset itself. The result of this is the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus (PRODUCT)RED Special Edition that has been launched today.

The handset has a vibrant red aluminum finish and it recognizes the decade-long partnership between Apple and (RED). This provides customers with an entirely new way of contributing to the Global Fund that’s heavily involved in efforts to eliminate AIDS from the world.

Apple has confirmed today that the special edition (PRODUCT)RED iPhone is going to be available for online order worldwide and in stores starting Friday, March 24th.

“The introduction of this special edition iPhone in a gorgeous red finish is our biggest (PRODUCT)RED offering to date in celebration of our partnership with (RED), and we can’t wait to get it into customers’ hands,” said Apple CEO Tim Cook.

The iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus (PRODUCT)RED Special Edition is going to be sold in 128GB and 256GB models with prices starting from $749 in the United States. Nothing else is different about this handset compared to the iPhone 7 that has been out since the fall last year.

It’s only the paint job that’s different and it has received this new coat of paint for a commendable purpose.
