If you’ve been meaning to pick up the HTC Vive virtual reality headset then you have a chance to do so for less than what the headset normally costs. HTC is celebrating the first anniversary of its VR headset by offering a one-day $100 discount on the Vive.

“We’re astounded by the impact that VR is making in the home and in the enterprise, and we want to celebrate Vive’s first birthday by giving a bit back to our fans and by introducing Vive to more people,” said Daniel O’ Brien, GM US, HTC Vive.

Existing HTC Vive customers will be able to redeem a free copy of Vive Studio’s VR action game Arcade Saga, a $19.99 value, on April 5th. Moreover, all new customers will get $100 off the Vive on April 5th as well which will bring down the headset’s price to $699.

HTC has also announced that it’s going to launch the Viveport Subscription service on April 5th. Customers will be able to pay $7 per month and choose five titles per month from a growing library of curated VR games. They will get unlimited access to the apps they choose and will also be able to rotate their selection every month.

Bear in mind that this HTC Vive price cut will be good for one day only so if you’ve been meaning to buy it you better hurry when the day comes.
