With the Nintendo Switch’s portable nature, we’re sure many gamers are wondering if they will ever see Pokemon arrive for the console. There have been some rumors in the past but nothing has been confirmed, and now it looks like perhaps it could be true, or at least to a certain degree.

According to Japanese retailer Sinobi, they have listed an arcade fighting stick for the Nintendo Switch and mentioned that the accessory is compatible with the Pokken Tournament. However it has since been noted that the post has been edited and that the reference made to Pokken Tournament has been removed.

Pokken Tournament, for those unfamiliar, is basically an arcade style fighting game with Pokemon characters, so if you’re more interested in duking it out that way versus more traditional Pokemon gameplay, Pokken Tournament is for you. The game has been released in arcades as well as for the Wii U, so really the notion of it being ported onto the Switch isn’t really that much of a stretch.

Nintendo has yet to announce or confirm anything, but the company is expected to make some announcements during E3 (separate of the event) so perhaps we will get more official details then. In the meantime is anyone else potentially excited about the idea of Pokken Tournament coming to the Switch?
