If you’re looking forward to seeing more heroes and characters introduced in Blizzard’s Heroes of the Storm MOBA, you’ll be pleased to learn that the developer has recently announced a new character that will soon be finding his way into the game, and this comes in the form of Alexei Stukov, who might be familiar to those who played StarCraft 2.

The character was originally introduced in StarCraft: Brood Wars, but was featured more prominently in StarCraft 2: Heart of the Swarm where he was captured by the following a betrayal, and was experimented on, ultimately resurrected and infested where he ended up being some kind of human/Zerg hybrid, similar to Sarah Kerrigan.

One of the highlights of the character is his massive left arm which looks Zerg-like in nature, which also happens to come incredibly handy (pun intended) in Heroes of the Storm where one of his abilities is to use that arm to grab an enemy hero. That hero will then be pushed indefinitely until they hit a piece of terrain, so in theory if there was a clear path, you could push heroes from one end to the other.

This is useful when it comes to fighting enemies where you can push them away to help even out the fight. His other abilities include being able to inflict viruses on other players, as well as healing teammates. No word on when Stukov will be added into the main game, but he will be playable in the PTR next week.
