Back in 2014, the folks at Bethesda decided to revive the Wolfenstein franchise with the launch of Wolfenstein: The New Order. A couple of years later, it was rumored that a sequel was in the works and could be revealed at E3 2016, but that clearly did not happen. Instead it seems that Bethesda has decided to announce the game, Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus, at E3 2017 instead.

According to the Wolfenstein website, “Your assassination of Nazi General Deathshead was a short-lived victory. Despite the setback, the Nazis maintain their stranglehold on the world. You are BJ Blazkowicz, aka “Terror-Billy,” member of the Resistance, scourge of the Nazi empire, and humanity’s last hope for liberty. Only you have the guts, guns, and gumption to return stateside, kill every Nazi in sight, and spark the second American Revolution.”

The game is also expected to see the return of BJ Blazkowicz and fan-favorites such as “Caroline, Bombate, Set, Max Hass, Fergus or Wyatt, and his now-pregnant partner Anya”. It has been set for a release on the 27th of October, 2017 where it will be available on consoles like the Xbox One, the PS4, and the PC. In the meantime if you have about 10 minutes to spare, you’ll want to check out the full reveal trailer above.
