Instagram is on a roll these days, launching new features to make sure that users stay interested in its photo sharing service. Just yesterday, Instagram made its service more conversational by launching comment threads. Today, the Facebook-owned service has introduced new ways to reply with photos and videos.

Instagram users can already reply to videos, photos, and reshared posts they receive in their DMs with a photo and video of their own. In order to clear up the confusion, Instagram will now automatically turn the photo or video that the user replies to as a sticker. That sticker will show up in their reply so that everyone knows which post has been responded to.

It’s also possible to send a split-screen reply now by tapping on the sticker. Users can customize it further by drawing on the sticker. They can resize the sticker, draw on it, and even add extra stickers should they feel like it.

It’s a simple solution from Instagram that’s going to reduce confusion for its users. It superimposes the content over the reply to ensure that users know precisely what the reply was for.

These updates are being rolled out as part of Instagram version 10.34 which is available right now for iOS and Android.
