Xbox One X Console Controller Front Tilt Top

Microsoft’s Xbox One X represents the company’s next step up in the Xbox One console, in which it will offer gamers a more powerful machine that will help to run games at native 4K and whatnot. That’s great and all, especially for newer titles that will be released on the console, but what about older ones?

After all at the moment there are more older titles than newer ones, so what does that mean for those games? Will they be forgotten? The good news is that Microsoft will not be abandoning older titles, or at least not all of them. During Gamescom 2017, Microsoft announced that over 100 titles are expected to receive Xbox One X enhancements which means that despite them being created for the Xbox One, these enhancements will help them look better when on the Xbox One X.

According to Microsoft, “All games look and play great on Xbox One X. But select Xbox One X Enhanced titles are optimized to take full advantage of the world’s most powerful console. Xbox One X unleashes 6 teraflops of graphical processing power, making games perform better than they ever have.”

For the complete list of games that are supported, head on over to Microsoft’s website. However it should be noted that this list is not complete, meaning that there will be new titles that will receive Xbox One X enhancements in the future, so if you don’t see your favorite game on the list, worry not as there is still a chance it could receive these enhancements later.
