While companies like Samsung and LG are starting to push out devices with bezel-less displays, let’s not forget that Xiaomi had actually beaten both these companies to the punch with the Xiaomi Mi Mix that was launched back in 2016, and it looks like Xiaomi is back with its successor in the form of the Mi Mix 2.

The Mi Mix 2 will actually sport a smaller display compared to its predecessor, where instead of a 6.4-inch 17:9 display, Xiaomi has opted to give the Mi Mix 2 an 18:9 display with a Full HD+ display. The company is also boasting how the bezels on the bottom of the phone is 12% smaller than before, with the front glass covering the display curved on all sides.

In terms of hardware, we are looking at the use of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset. In terms of RAM, we are looking at a couple of different options, with one option featuring 6GB of RAM and 64GB, 128GB, and 256GB of storage capacity, while there will be a “special edition” 8GB RAM model that will pack 128GB of storage, with the main difference being the build in which the special edition will be made from ceramic.

We are also looking at a 12MP rear-facing camera similar to that of the Xiaomi Mi 6 with a 4-axis OIS, while the front-facing camera will be of the 5MP variety. There will also be a 3,400mAh battery and will come with MIUI 9 which will be based on Android 7.0 Nougat.
