It has been confirmed at Sony’s Paris Games Week conference today when the Curse of Osiris is going to be released for Destiny 2. It’s the first post-launch expansion for this title. A trailer has been released to give us our first official look at the Curse of Osiris.
Some details about the Curse of Osiris expansion for Destiny 2 were leaked online recently but the trailer that has been released today provides us with official information about the expansion. The Destiny 2 Curse of Osiris expansion is going to focus on a Vex invasion of Mercury. Players will have to go up against Osiris.
Longtime Destiny players will find this name familiar as it has been long associated with Destiny’s lore. The name first surfaced in the “Trials of Osiris” competitive multiplayer mode in the original Destiny game.
The Curse of Osiris expansion is also reportedly going to bring new activities, new loot, and even a new planet for players to explore. A boost to the level cap might be included as well. Destiny 2’s first expansion titled Curse of Osiris is going to be released on December 5th.
The expansion will be available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PC. It’s the first of two planned expansions for Destiny 2. The second expansion is scheduled to be released in spring 2018.
