It’s no secret that Tesla has been working on an electric semi truck. The company itself teased the vehicle a couple of months back. It said that the electric semi truck would be unveiled on October 26th. However, Tesla CEO Elon Musk has now said that the semi truck event has been delayed to November 16th.

Tesla hasn’t shown off the truck at all. It only shared a teaser which gave a faint idea of what its design could be like. The truck was possibly spotted in the wild recently though there has been no confirmation or denial about the picture from Tesla so far.

Tesla CEO Elon Musk has confirmed via Twitter that the company is going to unveil the Tesla electric semi truck on November 16th. He said that the reason for this delay is that the company is diverting resources to fix Model 3 production bottlenecks.

It recently confirmed that the Model 3 production targets were missed and that it’s working to further improve the production processes to meet the Model 3’s demand.

Tesla is also working to increase battery production for Puerto Rico and other affected areas. The company has shown its willingness to help rebuild the grid in the island after it was devastated by one of the worst natural disasters in history.
