OnePlus hasn’t confirmed when it’s going to launch the OnePlus 5T but it has confirmed where it’s going to do that. The company has been teasing its new device over the past couple of weeks. It confirmed the name of the handset only recently. OnePlus has now revealed via Twitter that the OnePlus 5T launch is going to take place in New York.

The company posted a photo on its official Twitter account with the caption “Guess which city we’re going to party in for the #OnePlus5T launch!” It’s not that difficult to ascertain from that picture that it’s headed to New York.

OnePlus is yet to confirm any details about the launch itself, though. The company doesn’t normally conduct big launch events so we can’t expect that for the OnePlus 5T.

What this Twitter post merely confirms is that the official announcement is going to made in New York City. It doesn’t confirm if the handset will be available for purchase immediately and if OnePlus is going to conduct an event of sorts to show off its new flagship smartphone.

We can expect these questions to be answered soon. Previous reports have suggested that the company is looking at a mid-November launch for the OnePlus 5T.

In another development, OnePlus CEO Pete Lau has hinted that the OnePlus 5T price is going to be under $600. He hasn’t confirmed the exact price, but then again, the company likes to prolong these things.
