The way things are shaping up, it certainly leaves little room to doubt that the next phone we can expect from OnePlus will be the OnePlus 5T. In fact just recently the company posted a teaser image on Twitter which safe to say was not the most subtle of hints, although so far we still do not know when the announcement will be.

Like we said, the company has been rather aggressive with its teasers, with one from earlier today that they posted onto its Facebook page where they hinted that the OnePlus 5T would be retaining the 3.5mm headphone jack. This seems to fly in the face of other handset manufacturers who have slowly been phasing the port out on their devices.

Instead it seems that many are starting to warm up to the idea that eventually the 3.5mm headphone jack will be replaced by USB-C/Lightning, but we guess the convenience of keeping the port around will no doubt be one welcome by users for at least the next couple of years. Other teases shared by the company include a possibly upgraded camera with a better portrait mode.

It also seems that the phone could feature a new design with thinner bezels around the display. In any case hopefully OnePlus will have more specifics to share with us in the near future, so do check back with us then for the details regarding the announcement of the handset.
