Would you like your friends and followers on social media to find out what you purchased today using Samsung Pay? If you’ve ever wished for this ability, it appears that Samsung might allow you to do that soon. A new patent listing reveals that the company is building a social element for Samsung Pay. It will enable users to share their Samsung Pay transactions online.

The feature has been patented in South Korea and it’s called Samsung Pay Story. It’s going to let users see a list of all of their previous transactions. That’s good enough but the app will go one step further and let users share their previous transactions to social networks like Facebook.

The feature has been described in the patent filing as a “system for sharing buying experiences.” It’s going to do a good job of spreading the word about Samsung’s mobile payments service on social media. The company has rapidly been rolling it out across the globe and it certainly wants users to bring in their friends and family to the platform as well.

Users will have the option to limit the amount of information that they share about their purchase. So for those who don’t want to list an item’s price, they can share their purchases without mentioning the transaction amount.

It’s unclear at this point in time when the Samsung Pay Story feature is going to be released for the platform.
