Everyone loves a good story, but the method of delivery will depend on person to person. Some like it in visual form, some like it in written form, and some like it in audio form, which is one of the reasons why audiobooks exist, which allows people to enjoy stories and books verbally, such as when they’re travelling, in the car, or just don’t want to read.

If you’re someone who loves their audiobooks, you’re probably aware that not every book necessarily has an audio counterpart, but the good news is that Google will help make it more obvious. Google has announced some changes that they’re making to Search, where it will now offer support for audiobooks.

As you can see in the image above, this means that when you search for a book on Google, it will list where you can get the book from in ebook format, and also where you can get it in audiobook format, if available. While you could search specifically for audiobooks, this helps consolidate the information on the cards to make it easier to see at a glance.

The update should be live, so if you’re an audiobook person then hopefully these changes will help make it a bit easier for you.
