Last week it was reported that Blizzard was planning on bringing back the Overwatch “Winter Wonderland” event to celebrate Christmas. Given Blizzard’s penchant for celebrating the holidays in their own Blizzard-y way, this didn’t really come as a surprise. That being said, the event is now live for gamers who want to check it out.

One of the draws of participating in Blizzard’s holiday events in its games like World of Warcraft and Overwatch is that you get costumes/skins that are themed specifically for it. In 2017’s Winter Wonderland, this is no exception as Blizzard will be introducing a ton of new skins for the various characters in the game, all of which have been given a winter-y theme to them.

According to Blizzard, “This year, we’re celebrating with a new brawl: Yeti Hunter, as well as bringing back Mei’s Snowball Offensive. We’ve decked the halls of Black Forest, King’s Row, and Hanamura. But we know what you really want: presents! Unlock over 50 new seasonal items—including legendary skins like Snow Owl Ana, Rime Sombra, Beachrat Junkrat, and Ice Fisherman Roadhog.”

Blizzard also announced that last year’s skins from the previous Winter Wonderland will also be available for purchase at a reduced price, so if you missed out on it last year, not to worry. The event will run from the 12th of December until the 1st of January, 2018, so you’ve got a couple of weeks to enjoy it.
