One of the products that Samsung is known for would be its Galaxy Note series of Android handsets which would come with an accompanying stylus, the S Pen, which when coupled with software on the phone allowed it to do more than just a regular stylus. If you’re looking for that functionality on a laptop, you’re in luck.

Samsung has recently announced a couple of new laptops in the form of the Notebook 9 Pen and the Notebook 9. As the name implies, the Notebook 9 Pen is a laptop that comes with a stylus, which also means that the laptop in question comes with touchscreen functionality. Samsung has also designed it to be a hybrid, where users can fold the display back on itself so that it doubles up as a tablet.

The laptop features a 13-inch display and is powered by an Intel 8th-generation Core processor, with support for up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. As for the “regular” Notebook 9 laptops, these will come in three different flavors, ranging from 13.3-inch displays to that of 15-inch, and save for their differences in design and lack of a touchscreen display, they will share similar hardware specs in terms of RAM and processor.

No word on pricing of these laptops just yet, but Samsung is expected to unveil them in full at CES 2018 which kicks off in January 2018 next year.
