Amazon has been heavily investing in original content so it was only a matter of time before the company ordered its first animated series and it has now done just that. Amazon’s first animated series will come from Raphael Bob-Waksberg, the creator of Netflix’s hit BoJack Horseman animated series and its writer/producer Kate Purdy. The animated series is going to be called Undone and will have half-hour episodes.

Amazon says that Undone is going to be about Alma, a woman who discovers that she has a “new relationship with time” following a car accident.

Bob-Waksberg and Purdy will also be executive producers on this new series with Noel Bright and Steven A. Cohen. Both of them happen to be executive producers on BoJack Horseman as well. The story is going to be visualized by artist Hisko Hulsing who is going to work with a team of designers based in the Netherlands.

Even though Bob-Waksberg and Purdy are now developing an animated series for Amazon, it doesn’t mean that the two will no longer work with Netflix. The online streaming giant has already ordered another 10-episode animated series from Bob-Waksberg and others called Tuca & Bertie. It also renewed BoJack Horseman for a fifth season last year.
