Ubisoft’s Far Cry 5 is currently scheduled for a release later this month, and it seems that to hype up the release, Ubisoft has since released a short film (runs for about 30 minutes) of the game on Amazon Prime. Dubbed Far Cry 5: Inside Eden’s Gate, it follows a group of vloggers who try to gain more information on the Eden’s Gate cult for a documentary series.

Naturally given that it is on Amazon Prime, it means that gamers who wish to check the film out will need to be subscribed to the service. If you’re not, then we guess you’re out of luck, at least until Ubisoft decides to make it available via another platform. It is possible that its release could be a timed exclusive for Amazon, but we suppose we’ll have to wait and see.

The film will also act as a prequel of sorts to the game where gamers can get an idea of what to expect in terms of story and tone. Previously Ubisoft released a live-action trailer that showed off the main antagonist of the game and the film more or less is shot in a similar tone with the same actors.

In any case for those who want a sneak peek as to what the film might be about, you can check out the trailer above for the details. In the meantime Far Cry 5 is set for a release on the 27th of March.
