With Motorola reportedly killing off its Moto X lineup, many are probably wondering what will become of the company? Will we be seeing more Motorola products in the future, or is this the beginning of the end? The good news is that it isn’t the latter and that new Motorola products could actually be announced next month.

This is according to a post on the Motorola Blog where the company introduced their new president Sergio Buniac who will be replacing Aymar de Lencquesaing. The post contains the usual spiel about Buniac’s track record at the company and his experience, and how he’s the right choice to lead Motorola moving forwards.

However what’s interesting in the post is the hint that new products could be coming as early as next month. According to the post, “We realize we’ve had a great deal of transformation over the past years, and we’re grateful for our fans’ support and commitment. We’re excited for what 2018 (and beyond!) is going to bring us and look forward to sharing our first products of the year with you next month!”

The company does not mention what products might be launched, but hopefully we’ll be seeing new Moto Z models and possibly the new Moto G6 handsets that was recently spotted on TENAA.
