Frank Miller is a name that many comic book fans are probably familiar with. For those unfamiliar, Miller was behind titles such as Sin City and 300, both of which were adapted into movies. He also wrote comics for both DC and Marvel, such as Batman and Daredevil, just to name a few.

Now it looks like Miller has a new show that is expected to make its way onto Netflix. Called “Cursed”, this will be based on the story of King Arthur where it will focus on the Lady of the Lake. For those who might not have read King Arthur, the Lady of the Lake was the one who gave the Excalibur sword to King Arthur.

According to Netflix’s description, “Based on the upcoming book of the same name, Cursed is a re-imagining of the Arthurian legend, told through the eyes of Nimue, a teenage heroine with a mysterious gift who is destined to become the powerful (and tragic) Lady of the Lake. After her mother’s death, she finds an unexpected partner in Arthur, a young mercenary, in a quest to find Merlin and deliver an ancient sword.”

The series will be based on an upcoming book also by the same name, in which Tom Wheeler (who will also be acting as executive producer) will be writing it while Miller will be illustrating it. There is no mention of when the series will be debuting, but it could be worth keeping an eye out for if you’ve enjoyed Miller’s work in the past.
