No Man’s Sky was originally released for the PlayStation 4 and Windows PC but it has now been confirmed that this title is headed to the Xbox One as well. Hello Games, the UK-based indie team behind this title, has confirmed that No Man’s Sky and its upcoming major feature updated titled Next will be released for the Xbox One soon. There’s even going to be a version of this title that’s enhanced for the Xbox One X, it will have support for 4K and HDR.

The developer behind this title was inspired by the adventure and imagination from classic science fiction. Players have an infinite procedural universe to explore in No Man’s Sky that’s filled with unique planets and lifeforms. There’s always constant danger lurking in the shadows which requires brave action.

The title lands on the Xbox One with all three major updates have been released for No Man’s Sky since its initial launch. The updates added base building, freighter ownerships, survival game mode, online base sharing, permadeath, vehicles, a visual overhaul, and a new procedural mission system.

The update titled Next is due soon and Hello Games says that it’s the biggest update for the title so far and that it’s something that the team has been working “ridiculously hard” for. It hasn’t really detailed what the update is going to bring, though, but it promises that No Man’s Sky will be supported with free content updates on the Xbox One as well.
