While there have been some big name titles launched on the Nintendo Switch console after its success has attracted a fair amount of publishers and developers, the Switch is also home to quite a few indie games, with the latest title coming to the platform in the form of Klei’s “Don’t Starve”.

The game launched on the PC back in 2013 and has since made its way onto various platforms like the PS3, PS Vita, and PS4. It has also found its way onto iOS and Android devices, and it looks like the Switch will be its next home. It will be launching on the 12th of April where it will be including both the “Reign of Giants” and “Shipwrecked” DLCs.

Granted Don’t Starve isn’t exactly the latest indie title available, but it has managed to hold its own after all these years and it coming to the Switch is great news for those who have yet to try it out for themselves. For those unfamiliar, Don’t Starve is an open world survival game where the goal is to try and survive for as long as possible.

This is accomplished by hunting and gathering food and building shelter, and also fending off monster attacks at night. It has a very unique art style to it which you can check out for yourself in the video above. As for pricing it is currently set at $19.99.
