OnePlus has been teasing bits and pieces of information about its upcoming handset as the company will soon be launching the OnePlus 6 officially. While it has yet to properly unveil the device, the company has revealed some details about the handset and offers some hints too one of which recently suggested that this might be the company’s first water-resistant device. Another hint that it has dropped recently suggests that the OnePlus 6 may have a ceramic back.

The official Twitter account for OnePlus India tweeted an image with the caption “Same expert craftsmanship, new materials.” The attached image reveals that the next handset is going to have a “Designed by OnePlus” inscription at the back.

The hint at new materials suggests that the handset could have a ceramic back even though this isn’t something that has been expressly revealed by OnePlus itself just yet. OnePlus also hasn’t revealed so far when it expects to formally launch the OnePlus 6.

What the company has revealed so far is that the handset is going to have a display notch much like the iPhone X and following criticism from the fanbase, the company has decided to allow users to hide the notch through a post-launch software update.
