According to a recent report, it was suggested that the OnePlus 6 could be announced on the 18th of May. It turns out that the report was almost accurate because OnePlus has since officially announced when their next flagship phone will be launched and it will be taking place on the 16th of May.

This is according to the company’s website that lets users know when and where the announcement will be taking place. The announcement will be held in London where it will kick off at 5PM BST. There will be a live stream taking place so if you’re not in the area, not to worry as you’ll be able to watch the announcement live.

In addition to the live stream, OnePlus has also announced a fan gathering event. According to OnePlus, “Witness the unveiling of the OnePlus 6 at the Copper Box Arena in London. Join Carl and other key members of OnePlus, along with some of the biggest names in tech, at our largest event ever. Be among the first to experience our latest flagship device. Visit the OnePlus Experience Zone and grab a goodie bag that’s worth a lot more than the price of your ticket! Take part in giveaways to win additional prizes.”

In any case we’re only a few weeks away from the handset being officially launched, so be sure to check back with us then for all the official details.
