Alexa is at the center of Amazon’s smart home ambitions and the company wants potential customers to see just how a smart home can be powered by its digital personal assistant. Amazon today announced that it has set up Amazon Experience Centers at select Lennar communities across the country so that customers can get the Alexa smart home experience first-hand in a real home environment.

The Amazon Experience Centers are now open at select Lennar communities in Atlanta, Dallas, Los Angeles, Miami, Orlando, San Francisco, Seattle, and Washington DC. More will be added down the line. Customers who wish to visit a model home in person can find out more about how to visit by going to the dedicated page on Amazon’s website.

In these Alexa-powered smart home environments, visitors can ask Alexa to control smart home devices such as lights, shades, TV, thermostat, and more. They will be able to get a better sense of how Alexa can help them in their daily lives. Amazon’s other services such as Prime, Dash Button, and even the Fire TV platform will be demonstrated in these spaces.

Those who get impressed by what they see will be able to bring that experience to their homes by booking a one-to-one session with an Amazon expert who will be an Amazon employee that’s specially trained on the latest technology.
