Towards the end of 2017, Capcom made a surprise announcement which is that the Mega Man franchise will be getting a brand new installment in the form of Mega Man 11. The game looks fantastic and offers a modern take on the classic game. However apart from a vague 2018 release timeframe, Capcom did not specify when exactly.

However the good news is that we might have an official date to look forward to now. This is according to a leak which suggests that the game could be released on the 3rd of October, 2018. What makes this leak seem more credible is that it actually came from via the Singapore PSN as shared by Wario64 on Twitter.

It is possible that Singapore’s PSN might be using a placeholder date, but chances are Sony is probably more in the loop about the game’s release date than most, so it stands to reason that it might actually be accurate. Plus as Capcom had previously confirmed, it will be released in 2018 so an October release date doesn’t seem entirely out of the question.

The game will be launched across a variety of platforms including the Xbox One, PS4, PC, and the Nintendo Switch. We expect that more details will be shared closer to its announcement so check back with us soon for updates!
