Microsoft is gradually adding more games from the original Xbox and Xbox 360 to its list of titles that are backward compatible with the Xbox One. There are more than 500 games from the original Xbox and the Xbox 360 that are now playable on the Xbox One and the list will only continue to grow. The company has added yet another title from the Xbox 360 to the list. Saints Row 2 now has backward compatibility.

The confirmation about Saints Row 2 being added to the list came from Microsoft’s Larry Hryb a.k.a Major Nelson. Saints Row 2 was the sequel to the first game in the franchise which was released in 2006 and soon became a hit. Players are tasked with helping the 3rd Streets to take back their city.

Players get enhanced character creation in Saints Row 2 with a plethora of customization options. The title has a massive open world that they can explore by land, sea or air. Players can find a friend to play through the entire story of Saints Row 2 with online co-op play.

Those who are interested in playing this game on the Xbox One can head over to the Microsoft Store right now and download the title. It’s priced at $9.99 and is now available for download.
