While the Nintendo Switch is home to quite a few big name titles, especially from Nintendo’s own franchises, the console also seems to be doing a good job of attracting indie developers. For those who might be familiar with indie platformer Hollow Knight, which launched in 2017, you’ll be pleased to learn that it is now available for the Switch.

This was announced at E3 2018 in which the game’s launch trailer for the Switch was revealed. According to the description of the game, “Forge your own path in Hollow Knight for Nintendo Switch! An epic action adventure through a vast ruined kingdom of insects and heroes. Explore twisting caverns, battle tainted creatures and befriend bizarre bugs, all in a classic, hand-drawn 2D style.”

Nintendo also adds that the version for the Switch “Includes all of the new items, areas, characters, and bosses from the currently released free content packs; Hidden Dreams, The Grimm Troupe, and Lifeblood. All players will also get access to the final free content pack, Gods and Glory, due later this year.”

The game is priced at $15 and if this sounds like a game you wouldn’t mind playing on the go, then perhaps it could be worth checking it out.
