The 2018 iPhones are expected to be announced in September as Apple has done in the past, but when exactly remains to be seen. However there is speculation that it could take place in the second week of September on either the 11th or 12th, and now those dates have seemingly been confirmed by German carriers.

This is based on a report out of Germany (via PhoneArena) in which it cites two unnamed German carriers who revealed the pre-order dates for the iPhones. Assuming that this information is accurate, apparently the pre-orders will take place on the 14th of September which is a Friday.

The carriers also mention that the phone will most likely be announced on the 12th of September, a Wednesday, followed by iOS 12’s release which has been tipped for the 18th of September, and the 21st of September is when the new iPhones will be released. However we should point out that according to the rumors, the 6.1-inch LCD iPhone could be delayed until October, which means the 21st of September date is mainly for the OLED iPhone X models.

That being said there is no way to confirm any of these dates, but assuming they are indeed provided by carriers who most likely have first-hand information from Apple, then they could be right. Either way it’s best taken with a grain of salt, but hopefully Apple will start sending out the official invites soon.
