Nikon Z6, Z7 Press Renders leaked

Nikon’s official announcement for its mirrorless cameras will be taking place in the next couple of days. Now we’ve seen some leaks in the past but they weren’t particularly clear, but in case you were after something more clear, Nokishita Camera is more than happy to oblige as they have managed to get their hands on press renders of the upcoming cameras.

It should be noted that while there’s no way to confirm these images, but Nokishita Camera has had a very good track record in the past, so it stands to reason that these leaks could be the real deal. That being said based on what we’re seeing, we can only hope that it is true because boy, do these cameras look good!

It is obvious from the jump that Nikon has designed these cameras very differently from what they did in the past with their previous mirrorless models. These look a lot more professional and essentially looks like a slimmed down DSLR. From what we can tell, there doesn’t appear to be much of a difference in design from the Z6 and Z7, so the differences are most likely on the inside.

Nikon be taking some cues from its DSLR by having a small LCD on top of the camera’s body that displays information like ISO, aperture, shutter speed, battery life, and exposure. There also doesn’t appear to be dedicated dials for controlling any of those features. There will also be a dial on the right side of the camera with no marking, which presumably you could program to do what you want. There is also a tilting display, in which based on the previous teaser could be a touchscreen display.

Take it with a grain of salt for now, but check back with us on the 23rd of August for all the official details.
