While Tencent’s PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG) has been around for a while now, it appears that as far as the Xbox One is concerned, the game has only recently managed to achieve a full release. To celebrate that fact, Xbox Australia announced a very limited edition greaseproof Xbox One controller, presumably for all your chicken dinners.

According to Xbox Australia, the controller will feature a coating of urethane that was applied by hand.  This not only makes the controller greaseproof, but also resistant to scratches and water. It will also feature a unique grey, black, and yellow colorway, and so far it seems that there are only plans to release 10 of these, and that they will be limited to those in Australia.

It will also only be available by entering a competition, in which the rules, terms and conditions, can be found on the Xbox ANZ Facebook page. Interestingly enough this is not the first time that we’re seeing Xbox Australia come up with weird and cool marketing campaigns. Last year the company launched the Xbox Inflatable for the pools, and a couple of years ago there was also the Xbox Onesie.

That being said for those who won’t be able to take part in this, not to worry because Microsoft had previously announced another PUBG controller. This will be limited too, although we reckon it will be less limited than 10 units.
