Earlier this year, SNK unveiled the Neo Geo Mini. Given the popularity that Nintendo has had with its “Classic” series of re-released consoles, it wasn’t a surprised to see other companies attempt to follow in their footsteps. The release proved to be a success in Japan, where it quickly sold out.

For those who aren’t living in Japan and would love to get their hands on the console, then you’ll be pleased to learn that the Neo Geo Mini International Edition is available for pre-order where you can pick one up from Amazon for $109. The console will come bundled with 40 different classic games from back in the day, such as the King of Fighters, Fatal Fury, Metal Slug, and more.

It has also been designed to look like a mini arcade cabinet, complete with a functional joystick controller and stereo speakers, meaning that you can enjoy it as it is without having to hook it up to a TV. There will be a built-in 3.5-inch LCD, and will also feature HDMI ports, external controller connections, and an earphone jack.

It looks like an interesting device especially for those who might have grown up playing those games. We’re not sure if this version will see the same level of success it did in Japan, but if you pre-order now, you should be able to expect it on the 15th of October.
