With the coming month just around the corner, Sony has today confirmed that PS Plus free games for October 2018. All PlayStation Plus members get a handful of free titles every month as part of their subscription of the multiplayer service. Sony normally confirms the coming month’s lineup a few days in advance and that’s exactly what it has done today.
Friday the 13th: The Game is the first free title for PlayStation 4. It’s a survival game that’s in keeping with the spooky theme of Halloween that’s due next month. The second title offered free to PS Plus members on PlayStation 4 is Laser League. It’s a new multiplayer experience which starts out as a simple test of reflexes and morphs into a strategic competition with deep team tactics.
PS3 owners who subscribe to PS Plus will get Master Reboot and The Bridge for free. The latter is cross buy compatible with PS4 and PS Vita. Last but not the least, Rocketbirds 2: Evolution and 2064 Read Only Memories will be available for free to subscribers on PS Vita. Both titles support cross buy with PS4.
PS Plus members can also get PlayStation VR bonus game as part of their membership. This incentive is only for those who actually own a PlayStation VR headset that’s sold separately. The title, Here They Lie, is a first-person horror game for Sony’s VR platform.
