eBay is making it easier for people looking to sell their smartphones to receive money for their old device instantly. It has launched a new service today called eBay Instant Selling. The program will enable users to sell their smartphones and get paid instantly with an eBay voucher. This eliminates the need for them to manage the selling process.

eBay says that the entire process of selling the smartphone takes only minutes from start to the payment in the form of an eBay voucher. The company says that the return rates its offering on old smartphones are higher than some other services whcih include EcoATM, Gazelle, AT&T Trade-In, Verizon Trade-In, and Apple Give Back.

Users no longer have to list their phone on eBay and wait for their device to sell. With Instant Selling, they can receive payment at that very moment once the device is listed in the form of an eBay voucher. The only trade-off here is that they won’t get cash so whatever eBay gives them for their old device has to be spent on its platform.

Those who are interested in using this service can now head over to its webpage on eBay’s website and enter their device information to see if it’s eligible. Devices supported include unlocked, Verizon, and AT&T Samsung Galaxy S7 to Galaxy S9+ and iPhone 6S 16GB to iPhone X 256GB. eBay is going to add Pixel, select LG phones as well as T-Mobile and Sprint models next month.
