If you’ve always felt that Google Assistant’s UI wasn’t as nice as it could be, especially given Google’s focus on design where they are rolling out changes across various apps, then you’ll be pleased to learn that Google has announced that they are now rolling out a makeover to Google Assistant for its users.

According to Google, “The new design combines the best of text and talk on your phone, giving you the relevant information right when you need it. Just ask your Google Assistant for something on your phone, and then you can interact with images, sliders and buttons to get the help you need in a fraction of the time.”

Some of these design changes include bigger visuals that will make it easier to see information at a glance, new controls and sliders that lets users better manage their home devices, such as adjusting brightness of connected lights, volumes of speakers, and so on. There is also a new interactive message interface that lets users make quick edits, and for Android users, there will also be an easier way for users to get an overview of their day.

The changes made to Google Assistant should already be live and reflected in both the iOS and Android versions of the digital assistant, so you’ll want to get the latest version of the app if you’d like to take advantage of some of its new features.
