Last month when Apple announced their new iPhones, they announced the iPhone Xs, Xs Max, and the XR. The former two phones are the higher-end models of the lineup, where they feature dual cameras and OLED screens, while the iPhone XR represents the more affordable handset.

For those who are interested in the iPhone XR, then you might be interested to learn that the handset is now available for pre-order via Apple. The iPhone XR is definitely a lot cheaper than the iPhone Xs and will be priced started at $749 for the 64GB model. However there are certain “compromises” in making it more affordable.

For starters the iPhone XR will not have a dual camera setup, and that the display used is an LCD instead of OLED. If you think that these are some of the features you can live without, then perhaps it might be of interest to you. However apart from those features, under the hood the iPhone XR will be just as powerful as the iPhone Xs and Xs Max as it will use the same A12 Bionic chipset.

It will also be available in a variety of colorful options similar to that of the iPhone 5c from back in the day. Some analysts have predicted that the iPhone XR will actually do better than expected, especially in markets such as China, but we suppose we’ll just have to wait and see.
