Honor, a sub-brand by Huawei, is due to launch the Honor Magic 2 smartphone on October 31st. That may not be the only device it unveils that day. It appears that the company will also be unveiling a new Honor smartwatch on October 31st. A teaser of this smartwatch has surfaced on Chinese social media network Weibo.

The teaser does provide some details about the new Honor Watch that’s going to be unveiled later this month. Honor has largely been making smart bands while Huawei has made some good smartwatches. The Honor Watch might change this as the teaser shows that this product’s design is quite similar to that of the Huawei Watch GT. It may have a round dial with two buttons on the side.

It appears that there are physical watch hands on this device. This could suggest that the Honor Watch may be a hybrid smartwatch that blends the best of both worlds. This is just speculation based on the teaser right now, though.

More details about this device may surface tomorrow as Honor will open registrations for it through online retailers in China tomorrow. It may formally announce the device on October 31st when it unveils the Honor Magic 2 flagship smartphone.
