We’re not sure what it is about the Nintendo Switch, but the console has managed to attract a fair number of indie titles onto it. These titles come in the form of ports of indie games that have already been launched, as well as brand new titles designed specifically for Nintendo’s latest console.

Now if you’re a fan of indie titles, then you might be interested to learn that ABZU has been announced for the console. The game is developed by Giant Squid, a development team that is made up of developers who had previously worked on Thatgamecompany’s Journey game (which unfortunately is still very much an exclusive to Sony). It also features a soundtrack composed by Austin Wintory who also composed the soundtrack for Journey.

ABZU was initially announced for the PC back in August 2016 and eventually made it to other consoles, so it’s nice to see that the game is now being launched on the Switch. It is priced at $20 which is in line with its pricing on other platforms, but it will come with a 10% discount if you were to pre-order it. The game is currently set for a release on the 29th of November so if you want a tranquil exploring game that you can play on the go, it could be a title worth checking out.
