ASUS is one of the few smartphone manufacturers who have put a gaming smartphone on the market. Its ROG Phone has been slowly making its way to more markets across the globe. The company has now revealed that it will soon be releasing this handset in India. Customers in the country will be able to purchase it starting next week.

No word as yet on how much this device is going to cost in the country. It will most likely be sold through local online retailer Flipkart since ASUS and Flipkart signed an agreement earlier this year. The ASUS ROG Phone may thus be a Flipkart Exclusive smartphone.

Launched earlier this year, the ROG Phone features an exclusive version of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor with a slightly higher 2.96GHz clock speed. It also has a 6 inch 2,160×1080 AMOLED display with 90Hz and HDR support as well as a 1ms response rate.

Additional specs include 8GB of RAM, dual front-facing speakers, a 12MP/8MP dual rear and 8MP front camera as well as a fingerprint sensor. ASUS has even thrown in a silver ROG logo at the back for good measure.

The official pricing for the ASUS ROG Phone in India has not yet been confirmed. Given that the launch is said to take place on November 29th, it may not be long before that information is made public as well.
