Earlier this year during E3 2018, Bethesda took the wraps off a new mobile game called Elder Scrolls: Blade. The good news is that if you liked what you saw and wouldn’t mind getting your hands on the game, it appears that it is now available for pre-order/pre-registration for both iOS and Android devices.

For those who are unfamiliar with the game, it was announced this year where it will allow players to enjoy the Elder Scrolls franchise on their mobile phones. According to Bethesda, “Blades contains the many hallmarks Elder Scrolls fans enjoy from the franchise – beautifully rendered, console-quality environments, powerful magic, tons of gear to collect, upgradeable skills and of course, real-time fantasy battles! Fights are settled using the touchscreen to slash your sword, deflect oncoming attacks, cast a mighty bolt of lightning and more.”

Based on the gameplay, it reminds us a bit of the Infinity Blade series of games that used to be used as a benchmark of sorts to show off the capabilities of iOS devices. However Blades will be more than just hack and slash and will introduce quests to the game. There will also be a PvP system where players can battle against each other, and there will also be a city that players can control and customize.

It is free to play although we suspect that there will most likely be in-game purchases.
