Google has been taking pre-orders for the Pixel Slate for a couple of weeks now. Some pre-order customers have received notifications recently that their order has shipped. If you are not one of those customers and have been waiting to purchase the Pixel Slate, rejoice because it will be available at retail starting this Thursday.

Google has officially confirmed that the Pixel Slate will be available at retail locations starting this Thursday, November 29th. The company announced this detachable tablet with the Pixel 3 and Google Home Hub last month.

The company opened up pre-orders for the Chrome OS-powered tablet earlier this month. November 29th was mentioned as the shipping date on the Google Store at that time. Yes, it’s running the same operating system that’s found on Chromebooks. Since it has support for Android apps, users will be able to run a wide variety of apps from the Google Play Store on this device.

It’s a thin and portable device with a 12.3 inch display. It doesn’t have a 3.5mm headphone jack, though. The base model of the Pixel Slate starts at $599 for Intel Celeron/4GB RAM/32GB storage. The most you can spend on it is $1,599 for the 8th Gen Intel Core i7/16GB RAM/256GB storage variant. The stylus and keyboard case are sold separately for $99 and $199, respectively.
