LG was one of the first few companies to unveil plans for Google Assistant-powered smart displays earlier this year. It unveiled the LG WK9 back in January this year and even though many smart displays have since been launched, this particular one hadn’t arrived until today. LG’s smart display is finally available now for $200.

The device is what you’d expect a smart display to be. It has an 8 inch touchscreen display with a smart display OS from Google. There’s support for Chromecast and even an integrated camera with Duo video calls.

The smart display comes with Google Assistant baked in. It will enable the device to perform a wide variety of tasks in response to voice commands from users. The LG WK9 can also respond to the “Hey Google” command for tasks.

LG says that the speakers will offer a premium audio experience. It has teamed up with Meridian Audio to ensure that the smart display offers “exceptional” sound quality from the stereo speakers.

It actually has a $300 price tag. LG is launching the product in the United States initially and is offering the device for $100 off during the holiday season. Customers can pick it up for $200 for a limited time from LG’s online store.
