Android 9 Pie, the latest iteration of Google’s mobile operating system, is gradually making its way to more devices across the globe. Those who own the Motorola One and One Power will now be delighted to find out that the handset is receiving the Android 9 Pie update at last.

Motorola One and One Power are both Android One devices that Lenovo launched a couple of months back. They’re bonafide mid-range smartphones with greater software support being one of their biggest selling points.

Since these devices are on the Android One program, they off a near vanilla Android OS experience and also come with the promise of swift OS updates. The manufacturer is following through on that promise of swift updates as merely a few months after these devices were released, they are now being updated to Android 9 Pie.

Android 9 Pie brings a handful of new features to compatible devices. That’s in addition to many of the user interface tweaks that Google has made. Additional features include an improved Do Not Disturb mode, new Navigation and Recent app, improvements to enhance battery life, and more. The update that’s rolling out for both devices also brings panorama camera features, Dual VoLTE, and the latest Android security patch for the month of November.
