If notches were the big trend in the smartphone market this year, it seems like the camera hole will have all the hype in 2019. Four different companies have already teased new smartphones with a hole in the display for the front camera and we can only expect this number to grow. Honor is the latest company to suggest that it has a smartphone with a camera cutout in the display. It will be launching this device next month.

It really comes as no surprise that Honor will be launching such a device. Honor is a sub-brand of Huawei, which is due to launch its smartphone with a camera cutout in the display on December 17th. The Galaxy A8s will be Samsung’s contender and it’s due on December 10th. Lenovo will be beating them all to an announcement as its device is due to be unveiled tomorrow.

No further information is available about Honor’s device at this point in time. The teaser that the company has released shows a camera cutout in the top left corner of the display. It also mentions that the device will be announced on January 22nd in Paris, France.

We will most likely hear more about this phone before then. Some leaks may follow the rumors that may surface in the coming weeks.
