Huawei’s smartphones in the past have mostly attracted some attention due to the fact that they are considerably cheaper compared to the likes of the iPhone or even Samsung’s flagships. However these days prices have gone up, but at the same time Huawei has continued to add value with its camera, where many are finding it hard to deny how good the company’s cameras are.

That trend is expected to carry forwards to its flagship for 2019, the Huawei P30 and P30 Pro. I a tweet by leakster Evan Blass, he has revealed that the upcoming flagship from Huawei is expected to feature a camera that offers 5x lossless zoom, a 40MP sensor, a 24MP front-facing selfie cam, and a triple camera setup.

Some might recall a report from last week in which the alleged design of the Huawei P30 Pro was revealed where it showed off a quadruple camera setup on the back. However Blass does note that this is for the “regular” P30, so it is possible that the P30 could sport a triple camera, while the P30 Pro could use a quad camera setup.

In any case take it with a grain of salt for now but if you’re in the market for a new smartphone that will offer up potentially amazing photo-taking capabilities, maybe the Huawei P30 and P30 Pro could be worth looking forward to.
