Leica cameras are famed for several things, one of them being their picture quality, and the other being their price tags which generally speaking tend to make them way out of the price range for many a photographer. However if you wanted to own your own Leica camera, you might be in luck.

Leica has started to sell what appears to be official LEGO versions of the Leica M camera. They are available in a black/grey finish or a brown/grey finish and are priced at $45 each. Of course apart from looking cute and novel, they are obviously not functional but like we said, at $45 these might be the cheapest Leica cameras that the company has released to date.

The cameras themselves don’t seem particularly complicated to assemble and they measure 3-inches long by 2-inches high, which means that they probably don’t contain that many parts to begin with so throwing them together should not prove to be an issue. Neither model seems to be available for purchase just yet with Leica currently accepting pre-orders for them, so head on over to the Leica Store if you’d like to get your hands on the black/grey model or the brown/grey version.
