The LEGO Group has officially announced a collaborative partnership with the iconic French electronic music duo Daft Punk, bringing their legendary Alive tour stage into brick form. Originally introduced during their celebrated 2007 tour, the illuminated triangular pyramid is transitioning from a fan-designed concept into an official LEGO Ideas set.

The project originated during lockdown when Luxembourg-based LEGO enthusiast Patrick Harboun and his son constructed a miniature model of the concert stage. Their design won the LEGO Ideas Music to Our Ears challenge in 2020 before gathering the necessary 10,000 platform supporters. Following a cryptic teaser broadcast on Daft Punk’s WDPK 83.7 channel, which featured a red 2×4 LEGO brick resembling speaker woofers, the collaboration was officially confirmed.
Daft Punk creative director Cédric Hervet noted that the pyramid remains one of the most recognizable components of the duo’s visual identity. The construction concept features a miniature glowing pyramid stage positioned between two expansive, gridded architectural structures, utilizing colorful elements to recreate the dynamic lighting of the original live performances. A promotional film accompanying the announcement features minifigure versions of the helmeted musicians interacting with a holographic red brick, set to tracks such as “Voyager” and “Human After All.”

This concert model marks only the first phase of an extensive multi-year partnership between LEGO and Daft Punk. The collaboration will expand into additional content and events throughout 2027, celebrating the intersection of electronic music and brick-building creativity.

While the initial promotional images showcase the original fan submission, the final product design is currently undergoing official development by the LEGO Group. Official pricing, exact piece counts, and a confirmed release date have not yet been disclosed, with further details expected to be revealed as the 2027 launch approaches.
